Using the service

Terms of use

Effective: 6 August 2026
Last reviewed: 7 August 2026

1. Operator and agreement

Masjid Near Me is provided by CLOUDCAVE LTD, company number 16477937, at 6 Elsa Cottages, Halley Street, London E14 7SJ, England (“we”, “us”). By using the app, the user agrees to these terms and Apple's applicable licensed-application terms. Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.

2. What the app provides

The app is a Greater London directory that can rank nearby mosque records on the device, display separately labelled salah start and mosque-published congregation times, save local favourites, supply widgets and hand off user-selected directions, calls and external links. Some optional features may require a subscription.

We may change, pause, correct or remove a feature or public record to maintain security, address an error, comply with law or operate the service responsibly.

3. Prayer-time disclaimer

The app is not a mosque, religious authority or substitute for direct confirmation. Users must verify important salah, jamaa’ah and Jumu’ah times directly with the relevant mosque.

Timetables can be missing, delayed, incorrect, stale or affected by clock, source and publication errors. A salah start and a congregation time are different. The app does not present a calculated or displayed salah start as a congregation time.

4. Location, directions and contact information

Distances are approximate straight-line calculations, not route distances. Directions come from the external map service selected by the user. Public addresses, phone numbers, websites and social profiles can change. Users should confirm before travelling or calling and are responsible for carrier, data, travel and third-party charges.

5. Widgets, notifications and stale data

Widgets and notifications depend on a recent app refresh, current public timetable data, Apple services and device settings. They can be late, stale, incomplete or unavailable. Users should not ignore freshness or timetable-status labels.

6. External services

Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, telephone services, mosque websites, social networks and our email provider are third-party services. Their content, availability, privacy practices and terms are their responsibility. A link does not imply endorsement.

7. Premium subscription

Where offered, Premium is an auto-renewing annual subscription. The price, period and any introductory trial are shown on Apple's purchase sheet. Unless cancelled before renewal, Apple charges the displayed price when a trial ends and on each annual renewal. Apple manages eligibility, payment, billing, cancellation and refunds. Uninstalling or clearing local data does not cancel a subscription. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

8. Acceptable use

Users must not misuse the app or service, interfere with operation, evade safeguards, submit knowingly false correction reports, infringe rights, scrape or republish data contrary to source rights, or use the service unlawfully. Support reports should contain only what is necessary.

9. Intellectual property and source rights

The app interface, original branding and code are owned by or licensed to CLOUDCAVE LTD. Mosque names and marks belong to their respective organisations. Public timetable and directory material remains subject to source rights. The user receives a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app under Apple's applicable terms.

10. Availability and consumer rights

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill where legally required. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, complete mosque coverage or error-free public data.

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, losses caused by information a user was clearly told to verify, or business losses where the app is used commercially. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, breach of statutory rights or another liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Suspension and termination

Users may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. We may suspend all or part of the service where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, correction, legal compliance or protection of users and third parties.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers keep mandatory protections where they live. Consumers in England or Wales may bring proceedings there; consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also use their local courts. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern.
