Correction or removal

What to send

1. The mosque name and postcode or public record ID.
2. The exact field or date that is wrong.
3. The corrected value and its effective date.
4. A link to the mosque's official website, timetable or public notice supporting the change.
5. Whether the issue is urgent because a current prayer or congregation time may be wrong.

For a removal request, state whether the entire record or a particular contact/timetable field should be removed and why. Mosque representatives can state their role and use an official-domain or previously published mosque contact route where possible. We will not request identity documents unless strictly necessary to resolve a contested authority claim.

What happens next

• We acknowledge ordinary reports as soon as practical and prioritise current prayer-time issues.
• We compare the report with an attributable official source or a documented mosque confirmation.
• We can fail the record closed, remove a timetable immediately, correct and republish a reviewed release, or reject an unsupported change.
• The service keeps source, review and change evidence for public-data accountability; it does not publish the reporter's personal details.

Privacy and retention

The mailbox receives the sender address, message and any voluntary attachment. Send only what is necessary and do not include prayer habits, precise location, identity documents or unrelated personal information. Closed correspondence is normally deleted within 12 months; a minimal non-sensitive correction record can be retained longer to prove why public data changed.
